02Identity and win condition

This is a Fusion toolbox on Fallen of Albaz. Aluber the Jester of Despia starts it: "add 1 "Branded" Spell/Trap from your Deck to your hand". Branded Fusion (Limited) then fuses "using 2 monsters from your hand, Deck, or field".

It ends games with three Extra Deck pieces, each at 100% inclusion:

• Mirrorjade the Iceblade Dragon: "banish 1 monster on the field" (cost: send a Fusion Monster that mentions Albaz from the Extra Deck). "If this Fusion Summoned card in its owner's control leaves the field because of an opponent's card", it can "destroy all monsters your opponent controls during the End Phase of this turn".
• Rindbrumm the Striking Dragon: negates "a Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, or Link Monster's effect", and from the GY on your opponent's turn it can swap itself with a "Fallen of Albaz".
• The Dragon that Devours the Dogma: "unaffected by other cards' effects" while an "Ecclesia" is on the field or in either GY.

Blazing Cartesia, the Virtuous, Incredible Ecclesia, the Virtuous and Branded in High Spirits return to hand in the End Phase if a Fusion Monster was sent to your GY that turn (Cartesia and Ecclesia: "if a Fusion Monster(s) was sent to your GY this turn"; High Spirits: "if a Fusion Monster was sent to your GY this turn").

04Flex and tech

• Pure, 40–41 cards (Santo Domingo, Klein Rönnau, South Park, Richmond). Each plays Nadir Servant ×3 and Guiding Quem, the Virtuous. 3 of the 4 add Branded Retribution, which negates a card "that includes an effect that Special Summons a monster(s)".
• Hybrid, 50 and 57 cards (Guadalajara, Bremen). These add Dracotail Faimena ×3 and Light and Darkness Ritual, plus Dracotail Arthalion in the Extra Deck.

The Golden Swordsoul (50%) appears only in pure builds. In the Extra Deck, Mixousia the Confounder and Ecclesia and the Dark Dragon are at 100%, Lubellion the Searing Dragon and Hyperinvoked Aeon at 83%, and Despian Quaeritis and Albion the Sanctifire Dragon at 50%. The Albaz core is settled; the open question is which second engine to add.

05Going first / going second

Main-deck hand traps per list (decklist query): 7, 7, 9, 10, 14 (Bremen) and 15 (South Park). No main deck plays a board_breakers card. Only Santo Domingo sides breakers (Harpie's Feather Duster, Lightning Storm, Evenly Matched). For going second, the other lists rely on Hey, Space Trunade!, Typhoon and Super Polymerization, which uses material from "either field".

06Choke points and what stops it

1. Aluber's search and Branded Opening. Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring negates "Add a card from the Deck to the hand". Droll & Lock Bird comes after the first search resolves: "cards cannot be added from either player's Main Deck to the hand". That cuts off High Spirits, the Dogmatika searches and Nadir Servant's Deck add. Nadir Servant can still add "from your Deck or GY", so the GY half still works.
2. Deck sends. Ash also hits "Send a card from the Deck to the GY", which covers Quem.
3. Albaz and Cartesia activating on the field. Ghost Ogre & Snow Rabbit responds "When a monster on the field activates its effect". Effect Veiler and Infinite Impermanence negate a face-up monster.
4. Summon volume. The deck summons from the Extra Deck repeatedly, which is what Mulcharmy Fuwalos draws off ("from the Deck and/or Extra Deck"). Nibiru, the Primal Being needs "5 or more monsters this turn".

07Side deck

Most-sided cards across the 6 lists (decklist query):

• Hey, Space Trunade! and Pot of Sloth: 67% each.
• The Great Gallant Bandit, Nibiru, the Primal Being, Mistaken Arrest and Typhoon: 50% each.
• Artifact Lancea and Mulcharmy Purulia: 33% each.

Typhoon destroys "1 face-up Spell/Trap". Hey, Space Trunade! returns "up to 2 cards from the field to the hand". Mistaken Arrest stops Deck-to-hand adds other than draws. Lancea answers banish effects: "neither player can banish cards".

08Playing against it

• Before the board exists: Spend Ash on Aluber or Opening, then Droll after the first search resolves. Use Ghost Ogre or Veiler on Albaz or Cartesia before Mirrorjade hits the field. Fuwalos draws on each Special Summon "from the Deck and/or Extra Deck". That covers every Fusion, plus White Dragon's or Opening's summon when they pull from the Deck. GY revivals (Kitt, Quem) do not count. It needs "If you control no cards", so activate it before you set anything.
• Into Mirrorjade: It floats when it "leaves the field because of an opponent's card". Forbidden Droplet negates it without removing it, so the float should not trigger. If you remove it with Evenly Matched or Trunade, expect the End Phase wipe. Removing it before battle still gives your monsters their attacks, because the wipe happens "during the End Phase of this turn".
• Mistaken Arrest: "neither player can add cards from their Deck to their hand except by drawing them" until "the end of your next turn". That blanks Aluber's search, High Spirits' add and Nadir Servant's Deck add. It does not stop Branded Opening, which can still "Special Summon it in Defense Position", or Nadir Servant's GY add. Both players are locked, so it costs your own searches too.
